Orphan Barrel Bourbon Copper Tongue 16 Year
From Orphan Barrel, Copper Tongue is a blend of two separate 16 year old lots of bourbon distilled and aged for half its life in Kentucky and the other half in North Carolina. It was then blended together to create this unique, ultra-smooth and complementary whisky. Enjoy it neat or over an ice ball.
Like the bloodhound that has a sense of smell so acute, it can follow scents along the ground and pick out individual aromas. Copper Tongue is our result of bottling two separate 16 year old lots of bourbon. While they were both bottled at exactly the same proof (90.2 proof), they work together to give a distinct nose that we couldn’t resist naming after our olfactory friends.
