Maker's Mark 46 Bourbon
A bold twist on a smooth classic. With extra-oaky notes and bolder, more complex flavors, Maker’s 46 captures the character of Maker’s Mark Bourbon in a more mature state. We begin with our standard recipe for Maker’s Mark: fine Kentucky Straight Bourbon that is fully matured in charred new oak barrels, seared French Oak staves are then added to the barrel, and the whisky is finished aging in our cool aging cellar. The result? A bold bourbon with hints of vanilla and woody spice, but one whose every sip still delivers that classic smoothness every Maker’s Mark drinker loves.
Maker’s 46 is our boldest whisky yet. We start with fully matured Maker’s Mark straight out of the barrel. Then we add one more step. We seared French Oak staves into the barrel and finish aging it longer in our cool aging cellar, giving it a bolder, more complex flavor – but one whose every sip still delivers the smooth, approachable whisky that Maker’s Mark is famous for.
