The Macallan Edition No. 5 is a color creation which showcases the infinite hues and creativity of The Macallan. It has all the natural color from three types of cask maturation - American oak, Sauternes wine barrique and Oloroso sherry butts.
The Macallan Edition No. 5 is our most vibrant expression yet of the color palette at The Macallan, with a palette of naturally colored whiskies selected from the finest sherry seasoned oak casks.

AROMA
Vanilla and toffee with notes of oak, nutmeg, ginger, lemon basil and pear
PALATE
Fresh and sweet with caramel moving into poached peaches and ripe pear. Quickly followed by a toffee sweetness with light oak spices in the form of nutmeg and hints of ginger in the background
FINISH
Long and sweet
