Glenmorangie Signet Whisky
Signet was created to reflect the expertise of the Glenmorangie distillery, rather than using imported products. This is the richest in the range, and a tribute to their craftmanship. It's a blend of their oldest whiskey which has been distilled over thirty years ago and then aged in various barrels among the best in the world.
In their quest for cognac-style casks, they finally managed to acquire 30 year-old sherry casks. The liquid in these had been only minimally oxidised by virtue of having been distilled so long ago. It was then blended into the youngest whisky in the range. Signet is a youthful, rich whiskey with delicate smoke notes and hints of sweetness. Crafting Signet enables Glenmorangie to create its own unique style.
Coffee, ginger and cinnamon melt into dark chocolate and tiramisu, with dark toffee, crystallized orange peel and rich fruit cake.
A velvet explosion of crackling spices swirls around bitter mocha and dark chocolate, toasted hazelnuts and mellow butterscotch.
Mocha and spice combine with cappuccino and amaretto, before a finale of chocolate-coated raisins and orange.
