Glenlivet 18 Year Scotch Whisky

The exceptional Glenlivet 18 Year Old is a classic Speyside whisky from a distillery known for producing award-winning ales, yet it comes as a surprise to most to know that the 18 Year Old was actually the first whisky produced at the distillery. Like many other whiskies from the Highlands and Speyside regions, the Glenlivet 18 Year Old Whisky is often referred to as having honest and simple taste, inviting both novice and experienced Scotch drinkers with flavors of citrus in its aroma.

Glenlivet 18 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is made using traditional methods. Maturation takes place in a combination of American white oak first and second fill ex-bourbon barrels for two thirds of its maturation period, with the final maturation step in Spanish Oloroso sherry butts in traditional dunnage warehouses to create a wonderfully rich and complex whisky.
