Oak Cross is a smooth, full-bodied blend of Scotch Whiskies infused with character from new and second-fill American Oak casks, finished in French Oak. It is matured in three different types of casks for a harmonious and complex flavour.
Oak Cross opens with a nose of honey, lemon peel and cinnamon. The palate is rich and creamy with vanilla, cinnamon and toasted oak playing against hints of orange marmalade, cereal notes from the malt and a dash of ginger. Oak Cross's finish is long and lingering with toasted oak and malt coming through again on the finish joined by hints of mustard seed.
