Seth Folkers, Founder of Broken Barrel California Oak Whiskey, is a proud son of Northern California and Southern California. His passion for whiskey sparked by his love for Kentucky, but loyal to home, Seth combined his two favorite states into one award-winning bottle of whiskey. Enamored with Kentucky and loyal to home, he distilled this Straight Bourbon whiskey in Owensboro Kentucky - then aged it for at least two years in French oak barrels. The charred virgin French oak gives a common character found in the wine, while also rounding out the sweet dark fruit flavors bleeding from the freshly dumped wine barrels. The marshmallow forward, cherry center, and oak-heavy finish lingers while being balanced
