El Dorado Special Reserve 15-Year is a celebration of our heritage and the quality of El Dorado spirit. We have created this rum by marrying together rums from a number of different vintages, but it is only through aging in bourbon casks that we are able to release its true character - the reason for its stunning colour and aroma, a perfect blend of light caramel & oak, with outward flavours of vanilla, soft spice and ginger.
El Dorado, undoubtedly one of the best rums in the world, has done it again! This 15-year old rum is made from rums that are between 15 and 25 years old. They're blended together with a higher volume of younger rums to create a robust flavor that's ultra smooth.
TASTING NOTES
Full nose packed with dark coffee, candied orange, almonds, dark chocolate, pepper and vanilla. Flavours of grilled tropical fruit with smooth oaky spice – moderately full-bodied.
