El Dorado 12 Year Old Rum

El Dorado 12 Year Rum is a blend of aged rums, all at least 12 years old. The rums are distilled using a combination of lime tree wood charcoal and column stills for excellent results.

Rum-fiends beware: This smooth, amber spirit is not for the faint of heart. Perfect for sipping on its own or pouring into a cocktail (it does make a mean mojito), this rum has few equals. Distilled from sugar cane in Guyana, El Dorado 12-Year Rum is aged using a combination of bottom and pot stills in oak barrels for 12 to 13 YEARS. It's then blended to create the flavorful final product.

TASTING NOTES

Lush tropical fruit and spice nose with hints of honey and dark sugar. The profile is round, mellow and full bodied with rich flavours of fruits and spice. The finish is delightful, elegant and dry.
