Since its introduction nearly a century ago, Larceny Kentucky Straight Bourbon has been considered a top-shelf bourbon. Now made at Heaven Hill Distilleries' increasingly impressive Bernheim Distillery, this bourbon is aged for over ten years in American white oak barrels, and bottled at 90-proof. The result is a remarkably smooth and approachable bourbon with layers of complexity to go along with a nice waxy mouthfeel.
Larceny is crafted with a unique combination of hand-selected red-hulled and white corn, malted barley, rye and wheat. These grains are roasted at temperatures that allow us to extract flavors that would otherwise be lost. We then distill our bourbon in two pot-stills for an even greater depth of flavor. The result is a robust yet balanced whiskey on the palate with hints of dried fruit, figs and caramel.
