But the barrels we use are unconventional by nature. Each one has once housed wine, sherry or even other spirits. And then there is the taste. The French oak gives this rye a woody body, while the ex-bourbon and ex-sherry cask staves come together to create an uncommon and untraditional taste that leads you on a rollercoaster ride of flavor.
