Auchentoshan Three Wood is combined using whiskies matured in three different cask types, including American Bourbon barrels, Spanish Oloroso Sherry hogsheads and a rare Pedro Ximenez Sherry cask. Developing spicy ripe fruit flavors and notes of exotic spice. The palate is smooth with an oily mouthfeel, developing sweet toffee and wood-tinged dried fruit leading to a long lasting satisfying finish.
