Plantation Rum Australia

Plantation Australia 2007 Rum is a sweet and smooth aged rum from the finest sugarcane farms in Queensland. With hints of banana, vanilla and caramel, it's easy to sip on its own or use as cocktail ingredient.

An exceptional 14 year old rum, first aged in ex-bourbon barrels and then finished in a French oak cask. Plantation Australia is the culmination of this double maturation technique, highlighting the very expressive and complex appeal of this Australian rum.

Following a classic double distillation process, Plantation Australia 2007 Rum is treated to an additional one-year ageing period in French oak barrels. This rum has a rich and assertive personality that perfectly reflects the richness of the Australian terroir and the savoir-faire of its makers at Beenleigh Artisan Distillery.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE:
Stone fruits such as peach, apricot with hints of fresh vanilla, coconut, raisins and floral notes of iris and lilac.

PALATE:
Cooked fruits, citrus with hints of smooth cacao.

FINISH:
Exotic fruits with notes of vanilla and hint of wood.
