Chartreuse Green Liqueur
Green Chartreuse is a spiritual liqueur, made in the isolated forests of the French Alps. It is also one of the most sought after liquors in the world. This liqueur is created by soaking 130 different plant ingredients harvested by monks, including rare herbs and spices found nowhere else on Earth. The deep green color comes from chlorophyll found in its rare plants.
Green Chartreuse is a colourless alcoholic liqueur made in France from 130 herbs, plants and flowers, grown on the grounds of the Grande Chartreuse monastery. It is claimed that its recipe was given by an angel to Carthusian monks in northern Italy in 1046 AD.
