Harper 15 Year Old is a deep amber color with a flavorful complexity that provides a full-bodied taste. 400 years of distilling heritage speak through the case of I.W., which was launched in 1879 by Isaac Wolfe Bernheim, a Jewish immigrant from Alsace, France. He opened his first distillery in Louisville, Kentucky and named it I.W. Harper in honor of his partner and a friend Samuel Brown who was a Christian preacher whom he admired.
I.W. Harper 15 Year Old Straight Bourbon Whiskey is medium golden in color and has a complex aroma that is herbal, citrusy and spicy. Notes of caramel and brown sugar are also present. The flavor is semi-sweet with a good dose of oak and a long finish. It's a very nice bourbon for sipping neat or on the rocks.
