We speak bourbon to bourbon drinkers. We wanted the Knob Creek 12 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey experience to be as close as possible to tasting a bourbon that had been aged in a barrel for twelve years… just like in the good old days. Our whiskey comes from the heart of Kentucky.

Don't be fooled by the mellow taste of Knob Creek. This is a full proof bourbon, aged for 12 years to pure perfection. Made from corn, malt and rye and allowed to evolve in charred new oak barrels. This distillery will give you the bold taste you've been waiting for!

TASTING NOTES

Nose:
Rich, creamy scents of toasted oak, vanilla, caramel, and fresh baked Bundt cake. A slight amount of ethanol is present, but not enough to be overpowering.

Palate:
The extra time in the barrel is evident, with flavors of rich oak, leather, vanilla, marshmallow, and white pepper. The palate is refined and complex, with a good balance of sweetness and spice.

Finish:
The finish is long and lingering, with flavors of black pepper, tobacco leaf, leather, and oak. A touch of vanilla and peanuts is also present. The finish is both spicy and sweet, and leaves a pleasant taste in your mouth.
