The Green Spot is a whiskey aficionados delight. The single pot still Irish whiskey is comprised of whiskeys, ranging in age from 7 to 10 years, which all matured for the full duration of their lives in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and Spanish sherry-seasoned hogsheads of around 700 litres capacity. Only small quantities of Green Spot are bottled each year.
Green Spot is a perfectly balanced single pot still Irish whiskey with a delicate fruitiness and the richness of a smooth sherry, balanced by the oak of bourbon barrels.
TASTING NOTES
Nose
Fresh aromatic oils and spices with orchard fruits and barley on a background of toasted wood.
Taste
Full spicy body. A hint of cloves along with the fruity sweetness of green apples, rounded off with toasted oak. Followed by lingering flavours of spices and barley.
