Heaven's Door Straight Rye Whiskey

Heaven's Door Straight Rye Whiskey is the first uncut, unfiltered straight rye whiskey to be released in nearly 100 years. Far from hidebound tradition, this whiskey embraces innovation. The use of applewood-smoked grain provides delightful hints of smoke; limestone-filtered water lends softness; and nosing through the vaporous scent of charred oak barrels unlocks hidden spice that dances on the palate. It is the best of all possible worlds for a rye whiskey, and it represents another step forward in our effort to continue making something very old, very new again.

Breaking with tradition, we finish our Straight Rye Whiskey in toasted oak cigar barrels, 3 year air-dried in the low-lying mountainous region of Vosges, France. This proprietary finishing process results in a smoother, more approachable rye with notes of orange peel, coriander and spice.
