Matured in both American and European sherry seasoned oak casks, it delivers a whisky with a sweeter, warmer taste and character. A perfectly balanced single malt whisky.

Our Double Cask whiskies are aged in two types of oak, in specially selected handcrafted casks seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry. American oak imparts delicate flavors of vanilla and butterscotch while European oak delivers The Macallan's signature subtle spice.

TASTING NOTES

COLOR
Amber honey.

NOSE
Dried fruit, ginger and toffee. Rich orange with hints of clove and nutmeg.

PALATE
Rich raisin and sultana with notes of caramel, vanilla and ginger, balanced by wood spice and zesty citrus.

FINISH
Warm oak spice with ginger, turning to sweet orange.
