Empress 1908 Indigo Gin

In 1908, the Empress 1908 Original Indigo Gin was launched in Mumbai, India to large volumes and critical acclaim. In homage to our founders, we have created a bespoke gin which pays tribute to this hugely influential brand in the history of Bombay dry gins.

The Gin that started it all. Empress 1908 Original Indigo is distilled in small batches in the small coastal town of Bundaberg, only 2-hours drive south of Gympie. Distilled traditionally through the columns of an old fashioned pot still, smoked over peat, Empress 1908 has a smooth velvet texture, with fragrance of fresh night air and black pepper, with hints of juniper berry.

Empress 1908’s distinct flavor profile is a result of a fine balance of the 8 natural botanicals that go into its distillation.

TASTING NOTES

Flavor profile is of a classic London Dry with the addition of more floral notes and citrus. The finish is clean and dry with a hint of lavender.
