Crafted in Barbados by Master Distiller and Blender Richard Seale, this release is a blend of two Single Blended Rums, each aged for 14 years one in ex-Bourbon barrels, the other in ex-Madeira casks. Distilled using both the double-retort pot still and twin column Coffey still, Convocation is bottled at a bold proof with no added sugar, color, or artificial flavor just a powerful, authentic expression of time, terroir, and technique.
The result is a remarkably layered spirit, delivering notes of dried tropical fruit, dark caramel, toasted spice, and rich oak, with a long, warming finish that showcases its full cask strength. Like all Exceptional Cask Selections, this release is limited and never to be repeated, handpicked by Seale himself and bottled only when it meets his uncompromising standards.
