Un-aged primary components, which include mountain herbs, spices and grapes are naturally blended together before being aged in oak casks for 18-24 months. Amaro Nonino Quintessentia is the result of an exceptional marriage: between the experience and creativity of the Nonino Family and the ancient recipe used by Antonio Nonino in 1859, which he had brought with him from his native Friuli. This recipe was originally entrusted to his daughter-in-law, Angelica Pigozzi, who ran the company for many years after her husband's death.
